As It Is Okay
Signs of 'As it is' progressing musically. Still extremely boyish though. It might be fun at times but feeling 14 gets tiring after a few songs. At least they're starting to work towards more serious themes, evident in "Austen" - which quite frankly is the most above average or more than "okay" track on the record. These guys have loads of talent, but I don't like what they're doing with it. Unfortunately making the same song 10+ times does not make for a great album...

Zao The Well-Intentioned Virus
Boring. There were moments where my eyes lit up hoping for the melody to progress but was let down almost every time. Zao have a habit of puting pauses inbetween their riffs or settling for some repetitive riff in this album which makes it feel like to me a "safe option" where they fail to take a melody further. It's not bad though - fans would be able to convince themselves this is great.

"Nothing worth saving" is the only song worth saving. I was hoping for a lot more this time. This was like a slightly less impressive copy of collapse..Most of this record seemed very insincere, almost insulting to be honest, and I don't like records that insult me.

This album felt very forced most of the time, with only "13 voices" and "twisted by design" sounding slightly authentic. All-in-all not the worst casual listen.
