Duran Duran Greatest
yeah this is pretty much a perfect singles collection. not a weak track in the lot, one of my favorite popular comps of all time. GIDDIT
Gang of Four Entertainment!
New Order Substance
New Order Technique
Stone Temple Pilots Tiny Music... Songs From the Vatican Gift Shop
Supergrass In It for the Money
The Links Outside

4.5 superb
blink-182 The Mark, Tom and Travis Show
Gang of Four Shrinkwrapped
An overlooked gem for sure. Even Gill said so, within mere days of his passing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yqit8B1Uhc)rIn any case, I rate this at least a 4, but am giving it a .5 higher to make up for all the buffoons who probably only listened to it once (if even that) giving it below a 3
Kanye West Graduation
Metallica Master of Puppets
New Order Brotherhood
Nirvana In Utero
Stone Temple Pilots No. 4
The Beatles The Beatles
The Links But Then: The Links
Solid effort from Lafayette alternative band The Links, for all the styles contained on
here it's amazingly consistent both in sound & quality. Not sure there's one i'd say
particularly
stood out as a dud. Highlights are "Lola" & "Right On Pecan," but it's definitely one to
hear front to back
The Stone Roses The Stone Roses
Warganization Warg Cola
Incredibly consistent release considering how many different styles & sounds are covered in merely 6 tracks. Can't believe more people aren't listening to this
Warganization Mazda Music

4.0 excellent
blink-182 Enema Of The State
Electronic Electronic
Surprised this one has no review, it's as good as any of the late 80s/early 90s New Order material and has Johnny Marr in the mix as well. Not a perfect record but absolutely a must-have for any fan of New Order (The Smiths? Not so much. Unless you've always been curious what Marr sounds like behind a keyboard)
Gang of Four Return the Gift
Metallica Ride the Lightning
Metallica Metallica
New Order Power, Corruption and Lies
New Order Get Ready
Nirvana Nevermind
Pet Shop Boys Behaviour
Richard Ashcroft Alone with Everybody
His best by a long shot, in my opinion (outside of actual Verve albums, I mean) though Keys to the World would probably be a firm second since the highlights of that one are pretty nice. This one could have been the fourth Verve record easy, but it is interesting to hear how he developed these songs without the other 3. Opening four tracks are golden, and there are scattered examples of greatness following that - heavily recommended for fans of later Verve. If you didn't like Urban Hymns though, it may be a tougher sell
Stone Temple Pilots Purple
The Links Shopping Cow Funk
The Links Sucreland
Certainly better than its predecessor, though I prefer the one that came after this (But Then) a bit more. Interesting mix of rock instrumentation & electronics though at times it seems a bit overproduced - "What Does It All Mean" & "Underwater Lemmings" are instant classics, tho
The Smiths The Queen Is Dead

3.5 great
blink-182 Take Off Your Pants And Jacket
Empire Of The Sun Two Vines
while the highs on WOAD are still probably the best the band have yet to reach, this
album is without a doubt the more consistent & well put-together one. plus, it's got a
couple of tracks that can actually stand up to those aforementioned WOAD highlights.
"Way to Go" and "Friends" in particular are two of my favorite tracks these guys have yet
to put out, and "High and Low" is an instant classic. "There's No Need" is also a
beautiful tune that may need a couple of listens to click, but is well worth it in
beautiful melodies & production flourishes once it does.
Gang of Four Solid Gold
Incubus (USA-CA) S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Metallica ...And Justice for All
New Order Low-Life
New Order Republic
New Order Waiting for the Siren's Call
New Order Lost Sirens
Stone Temple Pilots Shangri-La-Dee-Da
Underrated record, as essential as the ones before it, imo. Might as well have ended on this one cos that s/t didn't really do them any favors
The Links Take It Away
Title track is excellent, as is the accompanying remix of it only a couple tracks later. The version of Last Goodbye on here is actually better than the one on But Then: The Links, imo, and I kind of wonder why they didn't use it on the actual album. Boxed Wine starts off as an interesting little electronic-y lounge experiment that pretty much morphs into some kind of full-on doom metal, which was a nice surprise, and Bomber's Lounge ends thing off on a similarly lounge-y note with a little bit of video-game lead synthage. Solid EP overall, though maybe not quite as cohesive as But Then or Summer's Outr
The Smiths The Smiths
The Smiths Meat Is Murder
The Smiths Strangeways, Here We Come
Warganization Propaganda LP
A little loud and definitely abrasive in places, but smooth & almost breathtaking in others. Solid but uneven listen, but nowhere near Warg Cola

3.0 good
blink-182 Dude Ranch
Gang of Four Songs of the Free
Metallica St. Anger
New Order Movement
New Order Music Complete
Stone Temple Pilots Core

2.5 average
Massive Attack Eutopia
Unfortunately this one simply continues the tradition of post-Heligoland Massive Attack just not being very much fun to listen to

2.0 poor
