Attack Attack! Someday Came Suddenly
Let's be clear. This album was not necessarily revolutionary. There were plenty of bands with screams and synths before Attack Attack!. However, Someday Came Suddenly did bring something different (good or bad) to the conversation (not talking about crabcore). Outside of the perceived gimmicks - the screams, choruses, and breakdowns are all solid here. There are plenty of exciting metalcore/post-hardcore moments on this album for a fan of the genre to enjoy.
beabadoobee Fake It Flowers
Beach Bunny Prom Queen
Beach Bunny Crybaby
Bedlight For Blue Eyes Life on Life's Terms
Blessthefall His Last Walk
What makes this album an outlier of its time is encapsulated within the first few songs. They offer a dark tone that is not forced and blends skillfully within their genre. This focus is something many other similar bands are unable to accomplish so quickly. I would have loved to have seen this capitalized on, becoming the benchmark of their sound, setting them apart in an oversaturated market of metalcore/post-hardcore. Unfortunately, this theme is not carried consistently throughout the rest of the album and is mostly absent in their upcoming releases. As is too familiar, the album and band end up mostly generic, unable to expand on what made them unique.

Not a massive fan of this album in comparison to their other releases. Best Buds and Puppy

absent in Sweet Tooth. This makes the album more accessible but
comes with a cost.

Paramore All We Know Is Falling
I have great memories with this album and know it from front to back. Paramore introduced rmany teens to a female vocalist within the pop/alternative rock genre. This and its two singles (Pressure and Emergency) set them apart from similar bands at the time. There is little else out of the ordinary to be found here.

Jamie's Elsewhere Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints
The screams are weak. The vocals are unique but sometimes jarring. This album is atrits best when leaning into the melodic side of the genre. There was a lot of potential here.rI'm curious what their next album could've been like if the lineup stayed the same and theyrrefined their sound around the best parts of this release.
