enduring. Jack would go on to release more eclectic albums in the future, though as far as his
garage sound goes, this is their simplest and most lo-fi interpretation of the genre. And of
course Meg's simple drum beats are the core aesthetic of this band, and that's one of the few
things that remains consistent from album to album.

I was impressed by how much I liked this. George is in nice voice here, and has some good melodic sensibility in his songwriting. Nice instrumentation that kept fresh the whole way through. Yeah, I didn't expect to give this a 3.5. Good work George.

You can't deny the talent of Emitt Rhodes, creating this piece of work at age 20, almost certainly starting the project at 19. As a result his songwriting ability was still developing but nice and consistent considering. The album sort of had that "drag" that the average Badfinger album does, but it was a bit more interesting than that. I'm feeling a three.
