5.0 classic
Deftones Around the Fur
Deftones White Pony
Deftones Diamond Eyes
Loathe (UK) I Let It In And It Took Everything
Been a very long time I've listened to an album and absolutely loved it on first play though. Incredible work here.
Norma Jean Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child
The Wonder Years Sister Cities
Album as a whole has really removed itself from their post-punk vibes. Feels mainly like an alternative album, but a damn smart one of that. Nothing that I feel like they went ?we need a radio song!? but wouldn?t surprise me if we hear it on the airwaves soon. Soupy sounds better than ever, albeit a little quieter overall.

4.5 superb
Alkaline Trio Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs
Break may go down as one of their best songs ever.
Architects Holy Hell
Crosses permanent.radiant
Deftones Koi No Yokan
Every Time I Die A Colossal Wreck // Desperate Pleasures
Free Throw What's Past Is Prologue
Greyhaven This Bright and Beautiful World
Hail the Sun New Age Filth
Johnny Booth Moments Elsewhere
Night Verses From the Gallery of Sleep
This might surpass Animals As Leaders debut as one of my favorite instrumental albums. Absolutely stunning.
Norma Jean Redeemer
Norma Jean Polar Similar
Norma Jean All Hail
Silent Planet Iridescent
Sleepsculptor Entry: Dispersal
Teenage Wrist Chrome Neon Jesus
Trophy Eyes Chemical Miracle

4.0 excellent
Acceptance Wild
While there was nothing wrong with Colliding By Design, this is a major step up from that release and looking forward for the second half in October.
Alkaline Trio Is This Thing Cursed?
Alkaline Trio My Shame Is True
Deftones Adrenaline
Deftones Deftones
Deftones Ohms
Eidola Eviscerate
First album of theirs I will spin more than twice and forget about. This is very solid front to back.
Free Throw Those Days Are Gone
Free Throw Lessons That We Swear to Keep
Gatherers " ( mutilator. ) "
Hail the Sun Mental Knife
Definitely a step above Culture Scars, but not quite the epic that was Wake.

Also, Donovan sounds closer than ever to Anthony Green. Not saying that in a bad way, but there’s some On
Letting Go vibes within a few tracks from his delivery.
Hundredth Somewhere Nowhere
Jimmy Eat World Surviving
Johnny Booth Storyteller
Microwave Death is a Warm Blanket
A damn near 180 from "Much Love" in almost every way. Very dense and heavy album that will take multiple listens. In many ways it reminds me of Brand News' "Daisy" in terms of the direction they took.
Night Verses Every Sound Has a Color...: Part I
Norma Jean O' God, the Aftermath
Norma Jean Meridional
Norma Jean Wrongdoers
Norma Jean Deathrattle Sing for Me
Northlane Alien
If Deftones, new era Underoath, and a splash of Static-X came together, it would be this album. But somehow it works rather well for them.
Oh, Sleeper Bloodied/Unbowed
While it doesn?t live up to their magnum opus ?Children Of Fire?, this was still a lot better than I anticipated. Glad to see their back in full swing.
orphantwin Future Classic
Cory Brandan is like a fine wine in the metalcore scene, his outputs get keep getting better. Most of this could easily fall on a NJ album.
Palm Reader Braille
Silent Planet Superbloom
Unsure who does electro-industrial-metalcore better, Silent Planet or Northlane
Sleep Token Take Me Back to Eden
The Republic of Wolves shrine
thoughtcrimes Tap Night
Trenches Reckoner
Veil of Maya [m]other
Step above False Idol, consistently heavy and chunky the way I like em. Pumped 15000 reps at the gym with this on.
Vexes Ancient Geometry
Very solid output for a debut. Leans a little too close to being a Deftones album at times, but not a bad band to rip off.

3.5 great
Copeland Blushing
Hoping this will grow on me, but didn't have anywhere the same impact Ixora or YAMS had on first few listens. Probably their most mellow work yet, with a few surprises.
Deftones B-Sides and Rarities
Greg Puciato Child Soldier: Creator of God
Second half significantly stronger. ?Do you need me to remind you?? ?Evacuation? ?Heartfree? are wonderful.
Idiot Pilot Blue Blood
Not entirely sure on this one. While it does a lot of good things, nothing really stood out as great.
Like Moths to Flames The Cycles of Trying to Cope
Second half is very strong, especially the last three tracks. Has that frantic-core faster tempo that I?d love to hear more of from them.
Oceans Ate Alaska Disparity
Damn, wasnt expecting to enjoy this as much on the first couple spins. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel by any means, but

sure as hell doesnt need to. Solid Metalcore.
Pierce the Veil The Jaws of Life
Grower for sure. Might be in the minority but I?m glad they?re not putting out the same album for the fourth time in a row. Slower pace overall, but some good hooks to be found.
Reggie and The Full Effect 41
Spiritbox The Fear of Fear
Teenage Wrist Earth Is A Black Hole
Tycho Simulcast
I don?t get it. Isn?t this practically ?Weather? minus vocals?

3.0 good
Acceptance Wild, Free
Dance Gavin Dance Jackpot Juicer
Free Throw Piecing It Together
Greeley Estates Calling All The Hopeless
Microwave Let’s Start Degeneracy
I wish I heard this new all at once rather than some tracks here being 1-2+ years old. Definitely impacts it as a whole,
There’s basically only 7 tracks on here with Portals and G Major being complete throw aways.
Omni is the best song Phoenix never wrote.
Northlane Mirror's Edge
A step above Obsidian, but feels like a collection of B-Sides to their best outing with Marcus that is Alien.
Royal Coda Compassion
Not bad, not incredibly good. Just painfully average. A step above their first release, but by a smidge.
Sleepsculptor Divine Recalibration
Teenage Wrist Still Love
Trophy Eyes Suicide and Sunshine
Underoath Erase Me

2.5 average
Bilmuri Goblin Hours
Dayseeker Dark Sun
Deftones Gore
Emarosa Sting
Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Absolutely nothing great with it. Most middle of the road album I?ve heard in years.
LIMBS Coma Year
Painfully average. Nothing here you haven?t heard before.
Norma Jean The Anti Mother
Reflections Willow
If "Emmure-Core" was a genre, these guys just suddenly perfected it.
Silverstein A Beautiful Place to Drown
Painfully average. Half the songs scream radio play in some way or another.
The Devil Wears Prada Color Decay
Hella letdown. Sirius-OctaneCore vibes for many of these tracks. I loved Chemical on The Act but I dont need a whole
album of it.
Trophy Eyes The American Dream
Almost everything on here screams for radio play. ?I Can Hear It Calling? is fantastic, and there are some subtle hints of good stuff floating around. However, compared to the titan that was ?Chemical Miracle? this was a major let down.

2.0 poor
Deftones Saturday Night Wrist
Deftones Black Stallion
Knf Prty, Passenger are good. Pink Maggot is worth the admission alone. Other than that yeah this is pretty bad
Jack White Boarding House Reach

1.5 very poor
Architects For Those That Wish to Exist
Never thought id be saying I'd rather hear new BMTH over Architects in 2021. Bland, predictable, Sirius-Octanecore
