Amun Spectra and Obsession
Cave Sermon Divine Laughter
Solid Australian dissodeath / post metal. rUlcerate is a stand out similarity here. rFantastic heavy moments entwined with layers of rmelody and groove. This is the January surprise ralbum.

Convulsing Perdurance
Horrendous Anareta
Horrendous Ontological Mysterium
Job For A Cowboy Moon Healer
Kvaen The Formless Fires

Insanely good Progressive Death Metal. Melodic, Technical and Dynamic. Much like Opeth, The Odious, Haken, Btbam, Devin Townsend all thrown into a blender. Best album of 2020 so far..
Ne Obliviscaris Exul
Omnivortex Circulate
Finnish Melodic Tech Death. Like Hath, Slugdge, Beyond Creation, and Revocation. Fantastic stuff.

Ocean Of Grief Pale Existence
Death/Doom with very low growls. Very present dual guitar work which is very nice. Great leads, solos and some bass licks as well. Just fantastic and very moving guitar work on top. Like a Death/Doom Insomnium. Also like Draconian, Swallow the Sun, My Dying Bride.
Panopticon/Nechochwen Panopticon / Nechochwen
Both bands mostly stick to their main formulas but also get a bit experimental and creative and it works out great for both! If you love Nature / Earthy / folk / black metal then this is for you.
Parius The Signal Heard Throughout Space
This is fantastic. 4.75. Been waiting a while for this one. A bit more atmospheric/spacey prog rock this time around. Like Haken, Btbam, Lunas Call, etc.
Persefone Lingua Ignota: Part I
Rejoice! The Light Has Come Untitled EP II
Replacire The Center That Cannot Hold
Rhun (USA-ME) Conveyance In Death

Ulcerate Cutting the Throat of God
Will give it an official rating once the album ACTUALLY comes out. Ulcerate is sick, but all these rpre-ratings that mess up the best of list are pointless and whack.. rEDIT: It was great but not AOTY for me. Thier last album was much better imo.
Ultha All That Has Never Been True
Underneath Nothing Here is Held Sacred
Viscera (UK) Carcinogenesis
Wake Thought Form Descent
Wayfarer American Gothic
Witch Ripper The Flight After The Fall
Another huge Mastodon clone. Stoner / Progressive Rock / Sludge Metal. Extremely talented and fantastic songwriting. Great dynamics, diversity and musicianship skills, but one cant deny how much it emulates Mastodon in sound, style and techniques.. It's just weird..
