5.0 classic
Forgotten Tomb Songs to Leave
This album is nostalgic. It has kept me sane on occasion.
Millencolin Pennybridge Pioneers
Satyricon Now, Diabolical

4.5 superb
Children of Bodom Are You Dead Yet?
Ded Mis-An-Thrope
Forgotten Tomb Springtime Depression
Majestica Above the Sky
This is the first album in a while that I really liked from beginning to end.
Satyricon Deep Calleth Upon Deep

4.0 excellent
A World in Grayscale Galaxies Above
This is an improvement on the first album. The long and annoying intros and non musical parts are shorter, the bass is more prevalent and the music itself is heavier. I really enjoyed this, but was disappointed in its change of direction from the 20 minute slow buildup songs on the first album.
Children of Bodom Follow the Reaper
Forgotten Tomb Love's Burial Ground
Forgotten Tomb Negative Megalomania
From Ashes To New The Future
Kavara Weathered & Lost
This album bangs. The whole thing is good, and each song is distinguishable from the others, but I particularly like "Lawn Care." Brutal
Rammstein Sehnsucht
Rammstein Rosenrot
Saor Forgotten Paths
Satyricon The Age Of Nero
Shylmagoghnar Emergence
Temple of the Demigod Onslaught of the Ancient Gods
This album is FUN. It's heavy and melodic. The shredding never seems to cease, the keyboards build a "Dark Souls"-like atmosphere, the blast beats don't seem boring. Really recommend this one

3.5 great
A World in Grayscale The Process of Passing Time
Overall, this was some interesting music. It doesn't really sound like anything else I've heard, it's Some of the songs are pretty lengthy, like 20 minutes, and some of those are the best songs. Each one builds an atmosphere and makes you almost feel somewhere else. Give it a try, I was pleasantly surprised.
Blood Incantation Hidden History of the Human Race
Children of Bodom Hatebreeder
Children of Bodom Hexed
Children of Bodom Hate Crew Deathroll
Dorylus Without Sin
Honestly, this album could have given me whiplash. I like every song, because they all have this same heavy nastiness throughout the album, and I really like them. However, I really felt that because they were all so similar, it wasn't as awesome as a whole.
Dorylus The Rapture
Forgotten Tomb Obscura Arcana Mortis
Forgotten Tomb Under Saturn Retrograde
Obituary Cause of Death
Rammstein Liebe Ist Für Alle Da
Satyricon Intermezzo II
Satyricon Volcano
Satyricon My Skin Is Cold
Satyricon Satyricon
Shylmagoghnar Transience
Striker Play To Win
Varg (DE) Wolfszeit II
I wasn't sure what to expect from this band, and I even took a chance on the language barrier. I was pleasantly surprised to find this album both aggressive enough without drowning anything out, and just melodic enough for my taste. I was honestly too busy enjoying the music to notice the language difference, but the vocals are perfectly audible, which I find to be a problem in a lot of black metal. Recommend a listen

3.0 good
Bury Tomorrow Black Flame
Children of Bodom Something Wild
Dark Doom The Journey
Freternia The Gathering
Prophets of the Rising Dead Discordia
This album is alright. Not too heavy. The vocals kinda bored me after a while, but the music never stopped me from headbanging.
Satyricon Dark Medieval Times
Satyricon Rebel Extravaganza

2.5 average
Aitvaras Aitvaras
Children of Bodom Blooddrunk
Demilich Nespithe
Hate Auric Gates of Veles
I, Apokalypse Destroyer of Worlds
Typical black metal. I thought it was kind of boring, with only one song that particularly stood out. Too many blast beats and droning riffs for me.
Infected Rain Asylum
Rammstein Untitled
Satyricon The Shadowthrone
Satyricon Nemesis Divina
Tryglav Night of Whispering Souls

2.0 poor
Demilich 20th Adversary of Emptiness
Nucleus (USA-IL) Entity
Satyricon The Forest Is My Throne
Satyricon Megiddo - Mother North in the Dawn
Satyricon Ten Horns - Ten Diadems

1.5 very poor
A Perfect Circle Eat the Elephant
Changed from 1 to 1.5. "The Doomed" wasn't horrible, but the rest of the album belongs in a campfire. I don't rate based on album cover, but comments about it were quite accurate. The vocals aren't even that great, though everyone seems to think this guy is God.
Awaiting the Autopsy Couldn't Tell the Bodies Apart
Some interesting sounding vocals and a couple good double bass parts. Other than that, I was really happy when it was over. Effing horrid, and they even use an MC Hammer sample.

1.0 awful
Deathspell Omega The Furnaces of Palingenesia
Never heard of this band, but the album has a very high rating, so I thought I would give it a listen. To be honest, I don't think I've ever heard something so ghastly go into my ear canal. Okay, maybe Reek of Putrefaction. It actually makes you feel kind of sick, listening to it. Also, I couldn't give a fuck less about the political views of the bandmembers. They shouldn't even be considered a band. Terrible.
