Cryptopsy None So Vile |
This is one of the most extreme metal albums I own, yet depite it being far heavier than most of my other music, it rarely leaves my cd player once the mood hits. It contains my favorite Cryptopsy song, Crown of Horns, and displays Lord Worm at his vocal peak. It's actually the vocals that attract me to Cryptopsy most of all, but the drums are definately a close second. All in all, there isn't a bad track on this record that truly will bring even the most hardened metalheads to there knees. |

Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast |
My favorite metal album of all time. Ass-kickers like Invaders and The Number of the Beast bring out some great riffs while Bruce Dickinson starts his career in Maiden with great vocals like on 22 Acacia Avenue and Run to the Hills. To bring it all to a close is my favorite metal song, if not favorite song ever, Hallowed be thy Name. This song is in a sense, the perfect metal song and I think many would agree. |
Metallica Master of Puppets |
I first bought ...And Justice for All and wasn't particularly impressed save for a few songs(Blackened). I gave up on Metallica for a few years until I picked this up. Songs like Battery, Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, and Damage Inc. are damn thrash staples and one can't deny the power of the mighty Orion. |
