Progressive, technical death metal from the most important band in death metal. The Sound Of Perseverance was not only ahead of its time then, it still is now. Filled with emotion and fantastic songwriting this album is a must own.

Deep Purple The Very Best Of Deep Purple
Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory
The definitive progressive metal album. One 70+ minute song divided into 12 tracks. All killer no filler. This album has everything you could want from a prog metal album. Pure headbangers like Beyond this Life, Overture 1928 and The Dance of Eternity. Epics such as Home and Finally Free. Even super emotional tracks such as Through Her Eyes, One Last Time and The Spirit Carries On. Every player is very techinically skilled at the instruments they play and James LaBrie's voice works so well on this album. As he is able to do the voice of every character male or female with ease. Simply one of the best prog albums ever.

Metallica?s Self Titled album goes far beyond just experimenting; it?s a full-on unapologetical plunge into main-stream heavy metal and in the end it?s done with merely average execution.
