New, Innovative and groovin'. Loving every second of these two songs. There are really good ones on their myspace page as well. |

Ben Lee Ripe |
Ben Lee has trouble doing it wrong, as portrayed on "Ripe". He tackles issues that people don't like to sing about such as "American Television" and "Sex without Love". Typical of Lee's albums, one song usually isn't very good, as if the producers what one more song on the album. In ripe, it's "What Would Jay-Z Do", a poppy song without depth, even though the issue is relevant yet dorky. Overall a well pronounced album from Ben Lee. Just listen to the first four tracks and you will understand. |

My Favorite Copeland album. Every song adds to this album to make an extremely wonderful sound and excellent quality. The vocals are superb, the tunes are catchy and gripping, and the album just never goes dull. |

Gavin Castleton A Bullet, A Lever, A Key |
Emotional, moving, depressing and lyrically solid. I have never been so enthrolled by spoken words. Gavin can flow and gets straight to the point on what he is talking about. Even the line up of songs in the order they are seems impressive to me. Get this, listen to it and drink afterwards! |

MGMT Oracular Spectacular |
Nick Drake Five Leaves Left |
Nickel Creek Why Should the Fire Die? |
Blown away by the shear quality of the sound. They mix it up a little and go with different chord progressions and it turns out fantastic. |

Rufus Wainwright Want Two |
Rufus Wainwright Release The Stars |
A very fine and brilliant album. Something Rufus fans have been waiting for!! How he incorporates classical and Indie into one gives this album its unique quality, event though all his albums bring these two genres together. "Going to a Town" is the stand out of this album even though every other song is worth listening to over and over again. |
Rufus Wainwright All Days Are Nights: Songs for Lulu |
Beautifully done. The piano is flawless and Rufus's classical side shines. Lyrically solid and vocally impenetrable, this album can make you cry and smile at the same time. |

Shearwater The Golden Archipelago |
Sia We Are Born |
Frankly, if my gal is going to listen to pop music, this is what I would want her to listen to. She is a great singer and has good lyrics as well as non-modified vocals and a great upbeat sound. |
Sufjan Stevens Michigan |
Sufjan Stevens Seven Swans |
Sufjan Stevens The Avalanche: Outtakes and Extras |
Sufjan Stevens Songs For Christmas |
This is unique. Have you ever heard of a Indie musician doing Christmas songs? How about Christian songs? Brilliant! |
The Autumn Film The Ship and The Sea |
Great music! The vocals are flawless and the band has a somewhat similar sound to Copeland but I'm not one to compare. Oh and chech out their free EP on their website! Why not get it and check it out.

Original sound, beautiful guitar work, and dynamic and seamless transitions. for being a slower paced album, it keeps you interested the entire way. Stand out tracks are "A Long Dream", "Birdwings", and "Worried".

Vandaveer Dig Down Deep |
Such a good album. I saw them in concert two days again and they sound almost identical to the cd. They are an impressive band with a huge amount of talent. Keep an eye on them because they will do some amazing things. |

Balmorhea Constellations |
Good album. As a first time listener to this band, I'm diggin it and liking the sound. |
Beirut March of the Zapotec/Holland |
Ben Harper and Relentless7 White Lies for Dark Times |
It's pretty good. The middle of the album is the strongest but the beginning and the end didn't hold my interest. I'll give it another shot though. |
Bibio Ambivalence Avenue |
Bill Callahan Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle |
So far, its haunting and mellodramatic. Something I could get into. I've never listened to Bill Callahan before so its a good first impression. |

Josiah Leming Angels Undercover |
For a kid who as no schooling in music and was on American Idol, he isn't that bad. Actually, I'm surprised to find myself really enjoying this EP. The last few songs lose some stamina lyrically, but they still work alright. |

Sufjan Stevens Enjoy Your Rabbit |
Definitely not his best probably due to the fact that he went out on a limb with Enjoy Your Rabbit. Listen to Year of the Dog, pretty much the best song on the album |
