These Japanese rockers have become well known for their ability to adapt to a different genre of music with every album. From the minimalist, hypnotic "Flood" to stoner rock on "Pink", Boris created absolutely fantastic records. With this release they turn to a strange combination of avant-garde and intense feedback, but churn out 30 minutes of ear-piercing guitar lines and consistently annoying vocals.
If you're looking to get into this band, start with "Pink". Stay away from this one. |
