| With Jane Doe, Converge redefined and re explored Metal as a genre for me. With its demonic riffs and technically beautiful drum and bass lines, Jane Doe offers everything to the listener. Stand out tracks include Bitter And Then Some, Thaw and Homewrecker. What I like best about this album is the lack of double kick on it. In a genre where over use of the kick is standard, it is refreshing to hear one footed brutal beats. |
