His use of growls is a plus as well. - Technically the band sounds better, with a more interesting sound and better song structures. Lows: - The lyrics are still good, but are do not match the greatness of Kezia's lyrics. - Single songs on the album do not stand out, the album requires listening to in full to really enjoy.Protest the Hero Palimpsest4.0 excellentDance Gavin Dance Dance Gavin DanceEminem The Marshall Mathers LP 2Pressure Cracks Pressure CracksThis EP is fantastic. Jason bringing back those aggressive screams makes me feel like this is the closest thing we'll ever get to more Fake History-era letlive (I'll always long for more of that sound). This is a bit more hardcore oriented than his previous outlets (much more aggressive than his hip-hop oriented group The Fever 333) but it's excellent. Fast, abrasive, heavy, breakdown-laden, and angry. Would love to see a full-length from these gentlemen.Protest the Hero ScurrilousProtest the Hero Volition3.5 greatMindless Self Indulgence Pink (1990-1997)Great compilation showcasing the MSI sound Jimmy Urine crafted in the early 90s. Most tracks are somewhere between Tight and FGWSSS. Production value is that of this decade as he had to re-create the songs from old shitty cassette tapes, and he cut down tracks to an appropriate MSI length (because a 2 minute song is 1 minute and 59 seconds too long). Everything else sucks, except the Jamie Foxx "Yes" music video is ridiculous.
