Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago
Depeche Mode Violator
Joy Division Closer
Terrific lyrics and many memorable one-liners highlight this bleak and influential album. That said, many tracks are unlistenable as there is little excitment to be found in Closer. And to think some people call Unknown Pleasures the weaker album.
Check out "Twenty-Four Hours", "Isolation".

A Perfect Circle eMOTIVe
Quite possibly the best album of all time. I mean, have you heard "Counting Bodies..."? The album is about George Bush which means A Perfect Circle are very deep. Man, high school is tough.
Against Me! Reinventing Axl Rose
Dead Letter Circus Next In Line
Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy
Marilyn Manson Portrait of an American Family
Marilyn Manson Smells Like Children

Simple Plan No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls
Slint Spiderland
The Cardigans Emmerdale
The Cardigans First Band on the Moon
The Cure Pornography
As if Joy Division never dissolved, the Cure's Pornography is excruciatingly drab. Robert Smith tries to invoke the spirit of Ian Curtis and deliver Closer pt. II. With lyrics that lack the subtle qualities of Curtis' and a sparse sound, Pornography is sure to disappoint any Cure fan. Sophomoric poetry at it's finest.
The Cure Mixed Up
The Smashing Pumpkins Zeitgeist
The Smashing Pumpkins American Gothic
Tom Waits Swordfishtrombones

1.5 very poor
Katy Perry One of the Boys
Maroon 5 It Won't Be Soon Before Long
Simple Plan Still Not Getting Any...
Simple Plan Simple Plan
Talk Talk Laughing Stock
Tokio Hotel Scream

1.0 awful
Paris Hilton Paris
Shallow to the point that it's almost disgusting. Art (I use this term loosely) imitates life in many cases and this is no exception.
