Oktober Skyline That's How Tripods Work
Let me introduce you to pretty much the greatest band in PA history.

That's How Tripods Work can best be described as frantic and entertaining... kind of like if Daughters was Ed Gein and less boring, really young and had siqq metal influences. As a whole the band is extremely tight, the guitars are fairly interesting, and quite a step from the standard Lehigh Valley metalcore sound they started with. The drumming is pretty intricate, and mad groovy, and the bass, as necessary just drops even more. The vocals... kind of like Jerome's Dream.

The best part about this album is that it's very free form and just silly. There's about 6 points throughout the album that make me laugh when I hear them, whether they be snide spoken comments, or the best, a re-recorded version of the their demo song "Friends Are Over Rated" with down right absurd vocals that sound somewhere between schizophrenic and sexually depraved.

Overall, the best picks of the album would be; We Had A Moment In Chinchilla, clapping intro, interesting drum patterns, and the guitarists noodle about in a kind of Number 12 Looks Like You manner, it's definitely the most fun song on the album; Don't Wait For A Punchline because of the awesome clean guitar outro, which is the majority of the song; and The Story Of Jimmy Plaid Pants for just being classic Skyline.
