its a grower, not as accessible as "Enter The Grave", but turns out to be just as good. vocals are also a grower, i think they took too much a leap too soon though

2.5 average
Annihilator Annihilator
Bullet For My Valentine Scream Aim Fire
its better than the poison in terms of guitar work and intruments generally, but the vocals, jeez. its too repetitive, chroruses are repeated twice every time, as is the guitar lines that go with them, with no change in lyrics or anything. thats just spoils it for me, had they gone deeper than simply songs about bullying (waking the demon) and written more lyrics, they might not have had such repetitiveness in the songs.
Metallica Death Magnetic
the majority of the songs are listenable, with the exception of "My Apocalypse", which is just terrible. but there are two main problems:
1-the sound quality, drums too loud it hurts when you listen through headphones, dont believe me check out the last few minutes of "The Day that never comes".
2- many of the songs suffer from length, the final section of "the day that never comes" is totally unecessary, as is most of the intro to "all nightmare long"
this aside, i see this as a link between the black album and ...and justice for all, which is a good thing, but the points i mentioned totally ruin the experience.
Stone Sour Audio Secrecy

2.0 poor
Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy
Nickelback Dark Horse
i cant say i was expecting more than the usual generic radio singles these guys produce, and thats what i got. problem is, they should just stick to that instead of trying to "branch out" and bring in all these influences, because when a radio rock band tries to break out of the boring formula, you get the mess that is Dark Horse

1.5 very poor
Avenged Sevenfold Avenged Sevenfold

1.0 awful
