Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
Belle Epoque Our Bodies
Love this album! It can only get better from here.
Parkway Drive Killing with a Smile
I wonder if I'd be stepping on toes rating this a 5. But I'm going to leave it at this solid rating; purely because this album is probably one of the best Hardcore (or as some say "Metalcore") albums I've heard. Great guitar work, mesmerizing vocals, and awesome drums that are fun to listen to. Not to mention, these guys put on a GREAT live performance which makes you love this album even MORE!
Senses Fail Let It Enfold You
Absolutely LOVE this album. Although, Buddy's singing voice isn't top-notch; I feel... he does a great job harmonizing. However; Buddy's screams are solid and bring a very explosive sound. In closing, this album is very catchy and leaves you wanting to listen to it repeatedly.

A Skylit Drive Wires...and the Concept of Breathing
I was hesitant to purchase this album, due to the fact that Jordan Blake was no longer with the band. I thought: "There's no way anyone could top Jordan when it comes to vocals and lyrics". I have to say I was wrong; But not entirely! I was very impressed with whom they chose to fill the void of Jordan's departure. I feel Jag brought a different style to the band; however, it was a noteworthy change. Wires... sounds well-produced and has a solid list of melodic songs. The guitar work seemed to keep its intensity for the last album "She Watched The Sky" and somewhat picked up from where it last left. But - they are surely a different ASD without Jordan.
A Skylit Drive Identity on Fire
Adept Another Year of Disaster
Came across these guys by watching one of their music videos (Shark Shark Shark) on YouTube. They sounded pretty decent to me, so I decided to check out their recent album "Another Year Of Disaster". I thought it was a worthiable album and very fun to listen to. They surely bring a lot of power and energy to their music. And they definitely are a true, talented hardcore band.

These guys remind me of The Devil Wears Prada, but with a lesser generic style, a more technical sound, and more pizzazz. (Pizza? lol)

Hey Monday Hold On Tight
The only reason I give it such a high rating is because of Cassadee Pope's vocals. Great sound and range. The songs are pretty generic and poppy, but they are very catchy. Overall, a decent CD that is fun to listen to; just not over-and-over.

Really great cd. Very relaxing and calm to listen to. Altogether a great cd, but most of the songs sound very similar. But it's to be expected because of the genre being electronica.

There is something about this band that makes me think they have a successful future ahead of them. There is still much needed improvements to be made; but, they are still a young band with a lot of potential. I will be keeping a close eye on these guys.
The Year Ends In Arson Vessels
Great first release for these guys. They have alot of potential and can only improve for their 2nd release.

Confide Shout the Truth
I really enjoyed this debut album from Confide. It was fun to listen to and the songs all had diversity. Their screamer/singer, Ross, is very good in this release. And they have good guitar & drum work. Overall, solid album!
Endwell Homeland Insecurity

Great cd overall. All the songs have a catchy ring; but wish the cd wasn't so short and they would do away with the Interlude and just make a song out of it.

2.5 average
Bring Me The Horizon There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It...
Catherine Inside Out
Chelsea Grin Desolation Of Eden
I've got to admit, I was a bit disappointed with this full length release. Just as Carnifex stated - there was no
stand-out track that presented itself throughout this album. While the screams were great, as expected,
everything else was a bit 'meh'.. when they are capable of much more. Not to mention, they wasted at least (2)
tracks on instrumental fillers. Very redundant and unneeded!

Drop Dead, Gorgeous In Vogue

Hopes Die Last Six Years Home
Ehhh... Average at best. I enjoyed their [EP] and there are a handful of good songs on this album, but it seems like they had a tendency of slowing up on this. And bands: QUIT with the pointless interludes that just drag on and go no where!
LoveHateHero America Underwater
LoveHateHero Just Breathe
Miss May I At Heart
Modern Day Escape House of Rats
Meh.. Reminds me of a knock-off Escape the Fate with too similar of a name. But, the album is mediocre with one or two listenable tracks. It's just an average album - for an average band.

2.0 poor
A Day To Remember What Separates Me from You
Blessthefall Witness

I am confused as to why this band is labeled "Metalcore". It's more like "Pop-core". This CD definitely has some generic, poppy tracks, but at times is sort of catchy. [P.S. Worst album cover, ever!]

Escape the Fate This War Is Ours
After losing Ronnie Radke, it was all downhill for Escape The Fate. This album falls flat that had a lot of expectations. From the great feedback "Dying Is Your Latest" got, it was expected that "This War Is Ours" would be a step-up. (However; all but true!) Once ETF lost Ronnie; and in a sense Omar E. (But all beside the point).. But once they lost Ronnie, ETF lost there artistic musicianship. The only reason I give this album a rating of 1.0 is because the songs "This War Is Ours" and "The Guillotine Pt.2" are somewhat decent. It's sad when an album only has, at best, (2) subpar tracks. "Way to go Craig! You should of stayed with Blessthefall! That's where you shined!"
