If "Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down" was the fun, lets get together and see how this goes album, then this is certainly the break-up and getting over it record.

It's certainly the same band but with different elements added and others taken. Relationships, or a single one, is the main theme. That is to say the end of one. The album itself is a journey, from the signs of fragility, through the break-up to the getting over it part. The fun, quirky music and lyrics have been replaced by a matured, grown and serious adult vibe which is darker, moving, sorrowful and uplifting at differing times.

The title track is the stand out one I feel and the line, " I do believe, that everyone, has one chance, to *** up their lives", resonates for a time. But it's this quiet, uncomfortable beginning of the song, which is almost saying "This isn't working we need to talk, I don't love you", that leads to an instrumental, almighty build up that climaxes superbly, embodying passionate yet saddened love.
The two Instrumental pieces book mark "Love of an Orchestra", which is fun and reminiscent of the first album.

Other songs encompass love, uncertainty, depression, heart break, hope and honesty.

A great album that the band really stepped up for. 4/5 but possibly 5/5 if you've recently been dumped or dumped
