I listened to this album straight for three weeks and loved it. Then I took a break from it, deciding to let it mature in my mind. After three weeks of taking a break, I popped the CD back into my Boombox and I realized I still love it as much as the day I bought it.

GZA Liquid Swords
Hans Zimmer Inception
I gave this a 4.5 originally upon hearing the soundtrack twice. Since then it has been stuck in the back of my mind, as a subconscious soundtrack to my life. This is pure classic instrumental.

Maybe, in the future this might wear out for me, but right now, it's utterly brilliant. Not a a single filler track and besides a couple of forgivable missteps, it's marvelous. First album in YEARS that reps the West Coast properly (I'm looking at you GAME)

When I listened to this album, the first time, I just breezed through half the tracks and they impressed me enough to garner a 4 rating. But recently I had the chance to sit down and listen to the entire session, from front to back. And as of now, hands down, it is the best electronic album of 2011 for me. Nothing this year has stayed longer in my play-list than "NY Is Killing Me".
