Suuuuch a great album. Great guitar riffs and vocals. The choruses on this album are off the
hook, been singing them under my breath everywhere I go lately.

Melodic Death Metal inspired Metalcore.
A great first release. Good vocalist, although there are some areas of work (could be
production quality.) The piano/ keyboard parts are fantastic. They do make the album that
much better. Overall very catchy, heavy and fun.

This band is actually pretty damn good, a good mix of progressive metalcore, with more
singing rather than screaming.

The Destiny Program Gathas
It's hard to make an album with 15 songs. It's even harder to make an album with 15 songs
that are all quality. The Destiny Program have managed to make an album that is hard for the
fan to pick their favorite song, because all the tracks on this album are just as equal and
great as the next. 'Gathas' is catchy, groovy, and heavy without those weaker couple of
songs. The vocals are very strong, Johannes Formella has the strongest vocals I have heard
in a while. He strikes similarities to the likes of Karl Schubach (Misery Signals). Be
prepared to hear some insanely catchy cleans and roaring screams. The guitars really shine
strong on this album as well. There are no songs with a lot of very fast shred (which
wouldn't fit the album anyway), but they sure know how to write some damn good songs. The
drums catch the mood of the album greatly as well, without overuse of the double kick.
Christian Bass (drums) always seems to come in with the perfect drum section for each riff
(including the perfect suiting double kick for the heavy parts.)
Expect very few breakdowns and great originality, musicianship and the catchiest shit you
have heard in a while with this release.
The Devin Townsend Band Synchestra
The Dillinger Escape Plan Option Paralysis
This or the Apocalypse Haunt What's Left
Upon a Burning Body The World Is Ours
This album is soooo much fun. They don't take themselves too seriously, which really adds to the fun. Some cliche parts, but overall I am really enjoying this.
We Butter The Bread With Butter Der Tag An Dem Die Welt Unterging
This is a really fun album. Wasn't too impressed with their last release, but there is actually some talent to be found in this one. Drums, guitars and vocals are all enjoyable. Silly, but fun.
Whitechapel A New Era of Corruption
Winterus A Frozen Path
Write This Down Write This Down

3.5 great
Beneath The Sky In Loving Memory
On this release, Beneath The Sky shape up in every way. Every instrument has been improved and the vocals are stunning. Joey Nelson shows off his deeper growls and uses his great singing voice more often. They even dip their foot in a little experimentation and the song structure has been improved as well. The first thing I noticed on this album was the guitar tone change. Even though I enjoyed The Day The Music Died, I found the guitar tone terrible. Although from a metalcore band like Beneath The Sky, breakdowns and cheesy lyrics are expected. And that is just what I want from this band.

2.0 poor
Oceana Clean Head
This is... miserable. The genre change is too dramatic. If you dig the new sound, good for you. But this is not what most fans of the band would want or expect. I appreciate the progression and experimentation, but overall it's not a great listen, or even catchy. Thank god this is just an EP, but I hope they go back to their original roots when or if they release another full length.
