This is the kind of album which grown men ovulate over. From the moment you hear the chugging chords of Tip Your Bartender to the cheeky silence which follows Convectuoso, this album will hit you like a fucking train, lift you back up, and then smash its fists into your face. Incredible stuff.

It is not an overstatement by saying that some of Vedder's best vocal performances are on this album. "Hard Sun", in particular shows Vedder at his strongest, and along with "Guarenteed", is one of the best songs Vedder has ever penned. Amazing book, movie, and soundtrack.

This album is far too short, and has too much filler, but it's singles have some magical moments, showing they have a lot of talent and promise. The guitar line in What Is Light? Where Is Laughter? The soaring choruses across the album, and Sam Mctrusty's untamed scottish accent all point to big things for the 4 piece.
