Without his soulful, doo-wop influenced, arsenal of vocal range and delivery, many entertainers such as the Otis Reddings, Al Greens, Marvin Gayes, and James Browns of the latter generations, would have ceased to exist. He not only exemplified a style of singing, but also a natural charisma as an entertainer. |
