| Since I joined Sputnik I have tried my hardest to save the classic rating for a "special" album. I have to say that I was late to jump on the Between the Buried and Me bandwagon. I started by giving a listen to a few songs off of the Great Misdirect. I immediately went out and bought that album, along with Alaska. I was blown away at the musicianship of these guys. After about a week I just had to go get Colors. On the way back from the record store I hit massive traffic, enough to last the duration of Colors. I have NEVER had an album hit me as hard as Colors did. Fantastic album, cannot wait for another album to have such a profound effect on me, but I won't be surprised if I don't find one. |
