Arkaik Metamorphignition
It's hard for me to call an album perfect. However, Metamorphignition was indeed a perfect piece. Each song flows uniquely well into another, the songwriting is actual writing and not just abunch of blast beats and solos.the band definitely lifts. At Golds. Production is one of my favorite parts of the album. The drums are not over triggered and the mix is just outstanding! Beautiful artwork upon buying the album as well. I recommend Metamorphignition, Soloiquies of the War Machine and Laughing Profit of Doom.
Fleshgod Apocalypse Agony
I have recently picked up the album at this years Summer Slaughter tour. Such an amazing album and from my last post about rating the album off the one single they released remains. Each song flows well with eachother. There are alot of orchestra pieces that play throughout the album. What makes it good is that it isn't like a metal band with music thrown over it. Like Fleshgod Apocalypse said, they ARE the orchestra. Highly recommend this album.rThe DeceitrThe ViolationrThe EgoismrThe BetrayalrThe ForsakenrTop songs in my opinion

Northland Northland
I love this Album. I don't like much Ensiferum really, but this album did it for me. The
production value is pretty clean, but there really is no need for shit quality in order to
fit a genre. One of my top albums from 2010.
Best Songs:
Revenge
Northland
Withering of the Rose
Pathology Awaken to the Suffering
Never really liked this band until I head this album. A Great release and a major step up from their previous releases. The flow of the album is not too well, it just sounds like abunch of songs thrown together, but the individual songs are great. This is a "Good Grind" band....is this possible? Listen to this album.rIn the song, Opposing Globalization, they have alot of solo work which is way bad ass for a grind/slam band like this. Also...the outro "Revocation Of Earth" was good. It sounds like the intro of a "What-Metallica-Should-Have-Sounded-Like" song. r
Sons of Aurelius The Farthest Reaches
A Great Album! Amazing guitar work, very memorable songs, audible bass which actually shreds like crazy! Very good vocals...just a great album. I recommend highly!
The Black Dahlia Murder Miasma
The Black Dahlia Murder A Cold-Blooded Epitaph

4.0 excellent
Assuck Necrosalvation
At first, I thought this album would be horrible listening to the first track. The song, "Fish Factory" gained my attention. The production is pretty bad, but after a few songs, this release sounds pretty good. Recommended songs would have to be Fish Factory, Anal Mistress (A classic intro), False Dedication and Dawn of the Necrofile.
Born of Osiris A Higher Place
Born of Osiris Rosecrance
Born of Osiris The Discovery
Beautiful album. Perfect flow, amazing instrumentation, and a huge Ascension overall. Great band, great music.
David Maxim Micic Bilo 3.0
Dimmu Borgir Abrahadabra
Flesh Consumed Fermented Slaughter - Inhuman Butchery
A great selection of Brutal Death Metal. Every song has a highlight moment and it's not just abunch of three noted chug songs with your average pinch. Good vocals, instrumentation and overall flow of this Comp.

Wretched (USA-NC) The Exodus of Autonomy
This is one of those albums where you can listen through the entire tracklisting once and be happy. Every
member of this band has extremely good talent. Great songs to check out besides ALL of them:
Mephisto's Will
VI: The Exodus of Autonomy (Instrumental)
and
Final Devourment.
Further notes...this band isn't your average chug chug BREAKDOWN TIME band. Beautiful and well written
songs from a lyrical aspect as well as an instrumental aspect. Like most can agree...it's a shame that these
guys aren't as popular as they should be. Once again...a great album.
Wretched (USA-NC) Beyond the Gate
I love this band and knew their second bum would be great. Having trouble on agreeing with an "Album" type of
cd though. The storyline is great but this sounds like an EP. Each song is outstanding! Very good! A step-up
from Exodus of Autonomy. Instrumentals are amazing. 4.9/5

3.5 great

Fleshgod Apocalypse Mafia
Katy Perry Teenage Dream
Lamb of God Wrath
Mayhem Chimera
Municipal Waste The Art of Partying
Prostitute Disfigurement Descendants of Depravity
A very good album! Not because of their improvement with music writing skills (I mean...who gets plus points for
improving from a slam band? No one because 'no shit that's improvement) but because it's a close to perfect
example of good deathmetal. Very powerful, technical and fast! Vocals aren't that amazing tho....they're ok but
you will get a GREAT satisfaction from this albums instrumentals.
The Black Dahlia Murder Nocturnal
Tool 10,000 Days
Winds of Plague The Great Stone War

3.0 good
Carnifex The Diseased and Poisoned
The Black Dahlia Murder Deflorate
The Black Dahlia Murder What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse
The Black Dahlia Murder Ritual
I didn't find this the best BDM album. It was pretty good. Better than Deflorate but it's not better than any other
albums. Mostly the reason is because you can't compare Ritual with the other albums. Ryan Knight is a great
guitarist, but he brings a different atmosphere to the sound and it isn't like any of the older releases. This is just a
way better version of Deflorate. Using string instruments brings a great feel to some of the songs and were my
favorite parts of the album. The first track, A Shrine To Madness, The Window and Blood In The Ink were the
highlight songs on this album for me as well as the single, Moonlight Equilibrium.
Winds of Plague Against the World
I only liked half this album. However, as simple as it is, the Intro is VERY good and flows
perfectly into 'One For the Butcher' but....the vibe and epicness is lost with the weird
transition that song does. Another good song is Monsters. The Lyrics really struggle. "I
fear no evil, evil fuckin fears me"....come on....Alana Potocnik, their new Keyboardist,
however, does an amazing job. I love what she did for this album!rBetter than The Great
Stone War, but not Decimate the Weak.
Within the Ruins Invade
Wretched (USA-NC) Son of Perdition
This album is a huge change in all-around sound for Wretched, yet I personally enjoyed it. It is more of a Black Metal type of record. The new vocalist seems to have higher screams. I am not a fan of his lows, but he does an ok job. The intro is a creepy church song and it goes into a straight Black Metal song. most of the songs were pretty boring though and the instrumentals were super short compared to their previous efforts. One of them sounds like Exodus of autonomy and the other one goes into an acoustic break like Aberration pt. 1. Exodus of Autonomy is still my most favorite album.

2.0 poor
As Blood Runs Black Instinct
Didn't like it as much as I did Allegiance. Alot are in happy with how a band has changed (that's really no reason to dislike a band in the firstplace) but this band hasn't changed at all. It's kinda funny really....it seems like a band with two original members and then 3 other dudes trying to capture what that old band had before. I wonder who would win: this 'new lineup' or an ABRB cover bad in a cover band contest. Seriously...the guitarist who made this sound pretty much bailed. Yea he wrote like...2 songs but the rest suck. New riffs sound fun but not for an ABRB album. Try should change the name of this albums artist and quit fucking around and actually put out a real ABRB album. Oh and the piano interlude? WTF pouring reign was better and that was the worst track off allegiance.

1.5 very poor
