Taking Back Sunday New Again
I must admit myself, it took me 2 years to work up the courage to listen to this album. When Fred left the band, i came to the automatic conclusion that TBS has fallen apart. But my friend dug up a song on his ipod for me called "Summer, Man", and i was quite pleased I had to listen to this album now.rTaking Back Sunday has changed alot over the years. To top it off, with Fred leaving the band, the overlapping vocals in this album are non existent. However, the band's replacement does an excellent job at backing vocals for Adam. What also might get a few people mad about the album is the more polished sound in the guitars, giving it a heavier sound and a less pop/punk feel than regular TBS fans would expect. In my opinion, its a nice touch to the album showing that over time the band is growing, and gives it a distinct "maturity" (if that's what you want to call it).rAll in all, the album title says everything. Taking Back Sunday is "New Again", but they've taken what they had and used it to the best of their ability. There is still hope for fans in the future, as well as Taking Back Sunday. rLesson Learned: Don't Judge an album by it's cover(and name).

Death Cab for Cutie Forbidden Love
Death Cab for Cutie Plans
Death Cab for Cutie The Open Door
Death Cab for Cutie Codes and Keys
With Narrow Stairs, Death Cab took an experimental direction on their first major label debut by having a more guitar-based approach than usual. In this case, what Codes and Keys gives us is the opposite, by putting in a more piano-based approached. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however. To specify further, what the band has done is written something closer to work of The Postal Service without losing the Death Cab feel to it. For the most part, its nice and refreshing. It will be a summer album for many.rWARNING: This album is not for the musically close-minded. Its for the fan of ALL Death Cab Albums.

To surprise, weezer creates a well rounded album that stays consistently catchy from beginning to end. U can't expect pinkerton again, people, so stop wishing and move on. They learned to rechannel their emotional side through songs like "run away", and "unspoken". While creating an evil catchy twin for "tired of sex"(from Pinkerton) in "Where's My Sex?" Im glad to say that the first single, "Memories", is one of the worst tracks on the album. rIN OTHER WORDS, its like PINKERTON met MALADRIOT, and created something with both elements. rWelcome back Weezer, we missed you!
