| Coldplay could've gone and made another weak album with great piano-driven ballads as their singles. They didn't, they got creative and showcased the whole band's talent instead of showing off Chris Martin's talent alone. Not a single ballad is on this album, instead it is full of inventive, fun, and new music and lyrics. Hardcore Coldplay fans who claim they love each and every track the band has ever made will be angry and say the band sold out to win an award, and they're right, this is not a typical Coldplay album. It is much better. |
