Buffalo Springfield Buffalo Springfield Again
Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

I can't rate it on the review page, so I'll see if the soundoff page works.

Ludwig van Beethoven "Pastoral" Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68

This virtually defines the word classic and a staff member gives it a 3. :D
Simon and Garfunkel Bridge Over Troubled Water
The Beatles Abbey Road
The Kinks The Village Green Preservation Society

3.0 good
Beach House Teen Dream
Hans Zimmer Inception
The quieter parts are good, but the bombastic parts annoying. So a 3 or 3.5.

2.5 average
Bon Iver Bon Iver, Bon Iver

2.0 poor
Arcade Fire Funeral
Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago
Taylor Swift Speak Now
The National High Violet
I rate this very very average. The Boxer is perhaps slightly better as Ada isn't too bad, but it's still quite an average album. Only recommended for those who already like this group or who specifically like their style (middle of the road, not good pop or interesting rock). Otherwise AVOID.
Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

1.5 very poor
Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion
The National Alligator
I'll use the main review as a guide.

"world weary tone" "downbeat" "hollow, sparse"
-depressing music in the emo tradition.

"trance-like state" "immersion"
-mood music

"comfortable" "lull" " it just slides by"
-middle of the road

"precision" "purposefully built"
-cold professionalism

"inhale fairly deep" "intoxicating substance"
- helps if you're smokin' something while listening to it.
