Death Individual Thought Patterns
In Flames The Jester Race
In Flames Colony
Probably my favorite in flames album. Everything sounds amazing. The bass is thick and audible. The drums are at times subtle, and at other times, (behind space '99) right in your face. This is probably some of anders' best vocal work as well, the midrange roaring is what he does best. He also fits some cleans in there without overdoing it like he does on later albums. The best thing, however, is the guitarwork. The riffs are awesome and memorable, and the solos are both blazing fast and melodic. 5/5
In Flames Whoracle
In Flames Sounds of a Playground Fading
Insomnium One for Sorrow
Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV
Omnium Gatherum New World Shadows
Opeth Still Life
Scar Symmetry The Unseen Empire
I swear to you, this is Scar's best album yet. Vast improvement from DMD, especially the vocals, which surpassed Christian's vocals in my opinion.
Skyfire Spectral
Skyfire Esoteric

4.5 superb
Beyond Creation The Aura
Children of Bodom Follow the Reaper
In Flames Clayman
Insomnium Above the Weeping World
Masterplan Aeronautics
Very enjoyable power metal. Great production and guitars, I especially love the vocals. They're well done and he doesn't get ridiculously shrieky like many other power metal vocalists. Not much to dislike about this album in my opinion.
Obscura Cosmogenesis
Scar Symmetry Symmetric in Design
Skyfire Mind Revolution
Theocracy As the World Bleeds

4.0 excellent
Amorphis Silent Waters
Blinded Colony Bedtime Prayers
Gardenian Sindustries
Normally, I don't like having a ton of clean singing in death metal, but Papathanasia pulls it off pretty well. Very nice album
In Flames Reroute to Remain
In Flames Lunar Strain
Insomnium Across the Dark
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Insomnium hasn't strayed much from their normal formula, other than making this album darker and perhaps more melancholic than previous efforts, as well as the addition of clean vocals, but I like it that way.
Kalmah 12 Gauge
Shade Empire Zero Nexus

3.5 great
In Flames Soundtrack to Your Escape

1.0 awful
Korn The Path of Totality
