I came to this album prepared to be jerked around and constantly surprised by the sudden twists and turns the songs usually took on Kezia. Instead, what I got was a structured, but equally as intense experience.Skrillex Scary Monsters and Nice SpritesSleigh Bells Treats3.5 greatAndrew W.K. Considering the individual talent that makes up this super group, I fully expected this album to be one long showcase of driving riffs and Keith Buckley lyrical genius. Instead, I found a fun, albeit unthinkingly catchy rock album destined to be another over-hyped, forgotten super group attempt.2.0 poorMy Chemical Romance Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous KilljoysI think I definitely enjoyed the story they were trying to create a significant amount more than the music they actually created. The album is catchy and mindless. I feel like there was minimal attempt at actual lyrical writing and more focus on showmanship. This is an album to forget.
