there's a serious lack of grooves throughout the album, it sort of just feels like a album to show off how good the vocalist is (and he's phenomenal) but the instrumentals are seriously lacking
ERRA Moments of Clarity
its erra. its good. but i'm wanting something a bit more from these guys. a progression of some sort
Eye of Horus Obsidian

Forevermore Integral
Ghost Atlas Immortal Youth
Gob The World According To Gob
Gorillaz Demon Days
Haunted Shores Maelstrom
Haunted Shores Following Ivy
Hollow World Exanimate
Humanity's Last Breath Ashen
compared to valde it's a tad heavier however there is less experimentation with other
genres, leaning into their "heavy thall sound" that is synonymous with the band moreso than
their previous record. personally it's a fun listen but i really was interested to hear
another track (or two) like vittring.
Humanity's Last Breath Välde
Idlehands Dena Mora
Idlehands Common Soul
Leeches is quite fantastic, and is by far the best track on the album imo.
In Hearts Wake Skydancer

Katalepsy Gravenous Hour
Mayer Hawthorne Where Does This Door Go
Messenger Of The Covenant Wretchedness
Monuments (UK) Gnosis
Monuments (UK) The Amanuensis
i enjoyed Gnosis, but this album is just miles ahead of their first. while i will forever love We Are The Foundation, The Amanuensis is a very possible contender for the best monuments release to date. more groovy riffs, more unique tracks, Barretto sounds phenomenal. my only gripe is the quality of the recordings, but that may very possibly be the result of the leak being of low quality.

Elitist Elitist
they should've changed their name. this is no longer the elitist i grew to love. while it's not bad, it's certainly nothing groundbreaking or unique (aside from moments of brilliance from Julian of course)
ERRA Neon
slightly above average. mostly saved by jesse's vocal melodies and guitar riffs.rdrummer has chilled out. bassist is average. screamer has literally 1 range. ri wish jesse would quit and just focus on ghost atlas TBH
