Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not |
Brand New Deja Entendu |
Brand New Your Favorite Weapon |
This might be my favourite Brand New record. Their first 3 albums are all perfect in my opinion, but this album is just funner with great lyrics, and probably the greatest pop punk record ever. |
Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me |
Circa Survive Juturna |
Circa Survive Blue Sky Noise |
Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 |
Coheed and Cambria The Second Stage Turbine Blade |
Coheed and Cambria From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness |
This album is great. It was the first Coheed CD I ever purchased when I was 12 after my friend showed me The Suffering and Coheed has been my favourite band since. As far as guitar work goes, in my opinion you can't do any better. The leads and hooks are amazing, although it is not as technically proficient as some of the prog metal giants. Although a great album, it does not surpass IKSSE:3 of SSTB. |

STAND UP, STAND UP, STAND UP!rI really love this album and is probably my favourite post-hardcore/screamo/whatevz album. The last 3 tracks on the reissue weaken it a bit but the original is perfect. can not reccomend this enough. |
Metallica Master of Puppets |
My Bloody Valentine Loveless |
Nas Illmatic |
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea |
Oh Mercy Great Barrier Grief |
This is a pretty predictable indie pop album. The songs are well written and the singer drawls his way through the running time. And I fucking love every second of it. This album just hit me at the right time and connected with me. It is perfect but I can understand why people will think it's utter shit. I always come back to this album after a while and know every word, just really great. |
Radiohead OK Computer |
Radiohead In Rainbows |

The Beatles Revolver |
The Beatles Rubber Soul |

The Smith Street Band No One Gets Lost Anymore |
AND LAST NIGHT, I KISSED A GIRL THAT I MET AT A BAR, WHICH IS MOMENTOUS GIVEN HOW THINGS ARE. WE MADE OUT IN THE MORNING AND SLEPT IN THE AFTERNOON, AND SHE SAID "WIL, I THINK THAT I CAN DEAL WITH YOU"rThis album is amazing, so many great lyrics and songs performed with passion I've never heard before. |
The Smith Street Band South East Facing Wall |
The Smith Street Band Sunshine and Technology |
So in 18 months The Smith Street Band have had 3 releases. And every single one of them have been fucking astounding. The follow up to NOGLA lacks the slower songs that paced their debut full length, but it doesn't effect Sunshine and Technology at all. The album is full of folk-punk anthems, catchy hooks and brilliant lyrics. AOTY, without a doubt. |
The Smith Street Band Don't Fuck With Our Dreams |
