The vocals don't at all fit in with the music, though. If they were distorted and farther back in the mix with everything else they'd be tolerable. The way they are, though, they just sound like Impaled Northern Moonforest.

Well I really do like this kind of music sometimes, but it's clear that this has not been meticulously crafted in the way the good albums of the genre have. It's the difference between a beethoven piano sonata and ludivico einaudi, just in black noise terms. It's just harder to see where the differences are when bands can sounds so similar
