Death in June But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter?
Came here to say pretty much what my boy Someone said in his soundoff a few years ago. There's a very dark and creepy atmosphere present but the songs themselves are way too repetitive and kinda lazy sounding for an album thats under 40 minutes.

Vesperian Sorrow Beyond The Cursed Eclipse
Damn this is some AMAZING symphonic black metal. Exactly how this genre should sound. The classical elements are the main highlight here. Sounds like the soundtrack to an evil vampire wedding reception.

Cerebral Effusion Ominous Flesh Discipline
A very solid slab of brutal death metal right here. The vox are demented as all hell and the riffs are reminiscent of being hit in the head with a hammer. No variation but thats to be expected in this genre. Good stuff.

Tetragrammacide Typho-Tantric Aphorisms From the Arachneophidian Qur'an
Gotta be honest bros, this does nothing for me. I mean it just sounds like another disso/blackened death metal album to these ears. Lacks the crushing atmosphere and epic sense of dread that other albums of the same sound have tbh.

Bladee Cold Visions
Idk if its just me but this gives me big mid 2010s Chief Keef mixtape vibes, just less violent and with a bit more melody. Really trippy and cloudy production and I love the drugged out hazy flow this guy has. Consistenly entertaining for a 30 track album.

Phrenelith Chimaera
Let me tell you something boys, these riffs right here are fucking CHUNKY AND MURKY AS ALL HELL! I mean there might not be much variation here but there doesn't need to be. Unadulterated dirty death metal that crawled out the depths of a swamp.

The Flaming Lips Clouds Taste Metallic
Hearing these guys for the first time and clearly seeing that they are one of Grandaddy's biggest influences. Lofi psychedelic indie rock thats drowning in reverb with a dreamy tripped out atmosphere.
