The fact that it's kinda over the top is what makes this great for me.

i love quite a few off of wildlife but i haven't listened to it much since it came out. i gotta hop on that, i don't think i've heard the whole thing yet.

yeah dude i said it's awesome. like an IPA that's way over-hopped but that's what makes it so awesome. no semblance of balance whatsoever but that's never been the point of emotional hardcore music anyway.

Yeah I don't know. I mean, it is a little bit, but nothing major. Probably just because of the lyrics. A lot of people find them cheesy.

no it's his crying-at-the-mic delivery coupled with the extremely personal nature of the lyricism that weirds people out. it was a bit much for me the first few times i heard it so i can understand the feeling.

i think i used to have this at a 4. i like this a lot but it definitely lost some of its power with age for me. still great though, and the hard-hitting moments are still as poignant now as they ever were so idk. this band is great, i'm certainly a fan.

hated the vocals at first, i was like 'this fucker rips off aaron weiss so hard'. Took me awhile to give it a chance but sooo glad i did.

i think most people stop making that comparison by the time they actually finish listening to an entire album.

the music is all well done and has some interesting lead guitar moments and some really cool rhythms. The drumming is really good for an album of it's kind and the vocals are pretty well done. Well...mostly. There are a few parts where lead singer Jordan's yell turns a bit sour, kind of like he's gurgling curdled milk. But other than that the vocals are pretty good, especially the spoken parts.

Agreed

since you're always looking for constructive comments, here's one:

You post a review pretty much every day but I never bother reading them because they're generally insipid and are of no value to me. Please at least try to make them funny?

Wait, so this album has good music and vocals but the lyrics and an extra 10 minutes bring this album all the way down to a 1.5? Horrible review.

this album is pretty bad, it whines a whole bunch and that isn't cool. I like screamoing stuff but this is just bad cus all it does is yell and cry doesn't really have a beat or catchiness or hard hitting riffs it just like moves along and finished without warning.
