3.8 excellent | Trey STAFF | January 13th 23 | Wayfarer sounds like the name of yet another cheesy folk metal band, but it’s not. Children of the Iron Age is actually a very well-done epic melodic black metal album. There’s nothing here that’s going to shake the foundations of the genre, but it’s also one of the better, more consistent, releases to come from it in a long time.

3.2 good | Atari STAFF | August 29th 16 | A frustrating album in the sense that there are some great moments, but the overall experience is brought down by some equally mediocre ones. That being said, 'TowardMountains' is more than enough reason to give this album a shot. Featuring the drummer from Blood Incantation, the song gets a really cool, brooding drum intro and contains vocals that seamlessly trade off between death metal growls and black metal shrieks. Despite some pitfalls, they're a band with strong potential.
