The new Cephalotripsy album, their first full length since 2007, is ultimately underwhelming. If I
would have to describe it in one word, the word would be boring. Nothing new or innovative is
displayed here and so it shares a lot with other albums of this kind. After several listens, there
is honestly no track or even a moment on this album that pulls me back in.

Lots of traditional brutal death riffs included,
songs usually start quite well too, so it sets a
good feel for the rest of the track. Production
is also acceptable, otherwise it goes the same
as any slam album. Very enjoyable but nothing
exciting
