3.4 great | Erwann S. STAFF | October 24th 24 | MG doesn't go Ultra as much as they go dnb (we need jungle im afraid) for quite a banging result, with of course their usual annoying shenanigans happening once in a while.

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | October 23rd 24 | I have been rather vocal over the years on how overrated Machine Girl is. Their style of digital hardcore always just came off as stale. Which is interesting because in many ways they are the true definers of the genre. However on their newest album ?MG Ultra? we see some truly breathtaking digital hardcore that blurs the line between drum and bass and synth punks. The screams are bone shattering and the electronic energy is so thick you could cut through it. Somehow the album feels like a futuristic take of a 90s industrial rave with the use of drum and bass and synth punks. With that being said the biggest problem here is the album is far too long. By the back half I am very much over what is being presented here. Fatigue is a real one on this release.
