Diggy Diggy Digs
I'm way behind on music from this year, rec me good ish |
1 | | Living Sacrifice Ghost Thief
One of the most under-appreciated bands out there. |
2 | | Fair to Midland Arrows and Anchors
Just as good as I hoped it would be. It just took me two years to listen to it. |
3 | | ZZ Ward Til the Casket Drops
A more saucy (and attractive) Adele. |
4 | | Dustin Kensrue The Water and the Blood
Dustin Kensrue made a worship album filled with fairly simple arrangements...and it's everything I thought it could be. Very theologically sound, and "It's Not Enough" is one of the most passionate songs I've heard in a long time. |
5 | | Ascend the Hill O Ransomed Son
I've been listening to this album pretty regularly for a good year now and I see no reason to stop. One of the few worship bands I can listen to at any time, and that is both lyrically and instrumentally engaging. |
6 | | Celeste Animale(s)
I've moved away from pursuing the screamo sound, but Celeste is one of the few bands that has found a permanent place in my library. |
7 | | Aeon Zen Enigma
A pretty by-the-numbers prog/djent band, but I find myself listening to this more than I can explain. |
8 | | The Heavy The House that Dirt Built
Love this band. |
9 | | Jars of Clay Jars of Clay
Classic album. |
10 | | Least of These Change Will Come
Very reminiscent of Come Now Sleep |
11 | | Thrice Beggars
Quickly becoming one of my favorite Thrice releases. |
12 | | Showbread Who Can Know It?
Showbread being Showbread |
13 | | needtobreathe The Reckoning
Love this guy's voice. And the blend of genres here is pretty great. |
14 | | Rosetta The Anaesthete
These last two are for disappointments. |
15 | | Karnivool Asymmetry |
