Saw Periphery Live Last Night
Saw them live at the Houston House Of Blues, pretty cool venue I guess. They sounded rjust like the CD. rrOpening acts were Thank You Scientist, Nothing More, and rWovenwar. rI dont see concerts often so when I do it's a big deal. |
1 | | Thank You Scientist The Perils of Time Travel
Opened up the act with four songs. These guys fuckin rule. Met the vocalist and drummer, pretty cool guys. |
2 | | Wovenwar Wovenwar
Second act, like four or five songs. They sound good live but I'm not a big Wovenwar fan. |
3 | | Nothing More Vandura
These guys played a shitload of songs. |
4 | | Nothing More Nothing More
I got to meet the vocalist and bassists, had like a 10 minute conversation. Two very cool guys. |
5 | | Periphery Juggernaut: Omega
Periphery played a lot of new material; over half the songlist was new stuff. |
6 | | Periphery Juggernaut: Alpha
I haven't listened to the new albums so I wouldn't know which songs they played |
7 | | Periphery Clear
They said a song was from the Clear EP so. |
8 | | Periphery Periphery II: This Time It's Personal
They closed the set with two songs from this album. |
9 | | Metallica Live At Grimey's
No, Metallica wasn't the closer. All of Periphery's soundcheck songs were Metallica riffs. The entire band played "Enter Sandman" for a solid
minute before the show started. |
