A truly underrated effort with the Black Sabbath name on it. I could argue that this is my favorite Sabbath album. Dio shows that he is much more powerful vocalist than Ozzy and Tony Iommi totally kicks it into high gear with this album. I had the title track on infinite loop as a kid; I could'nt get enough of that song. IF YOU LISTEN TO FOOLS, THE MOB RULES. |

Anyone who hates on this album has clearly never heard it and it just jumping on the "Creed sucks" bandwagon. My Own Prison is a wonderful debut release, and Creed's only great album to date. Many of the songs convey an actual sense of forgiveness and emotion that most other grunge acts do not. Stapp may be a pretty bad vocalist, but he doesn't stop the excellent riffage of Scott Tremonti. Human Clay is good too, but the rest aren't worth listening too. |

"Razzie Award for Worst Music" nomination my ass. This excellent horror film is backed up by a haunting horror soundtrack. Whether its the bass-driven "thum thum" of the main theme, or the violins and trumpet harmonies in tracks like "Humanity (Part 1)", the score succeeds in giving you the chills. |

Possibly the most underrated album ever made. Kick ass song after kick ass song after kick ass song; its a complete mystery why this album didn't rocket into the hands of metalheads everywhere. The vocalist isnt very good...at all...but he has a writing credit on every song (some songs where written by him alone) so I'm glad he's in the band. FIND THIS ALBUM. |

Gorillaz Gorillaz |
How anyone can give this unique album anything below a 4.0 is just dumbfounding. There is not a single flaw I can find with this majestic creation. Songs such as "5/4", "Clint Eastwood", "Double Bass", "Latin Simone", "19-2000", and "Rock The House" are true earworms with idealistic melodies and spicy rhythms that wouldn't usually fit together. Simply put: its brilliant. |
Gorillaz Demon Days |
Gorillaz Plastic Beach |
When this album was released, I rushed to the store and bought it on the first day. To be honest, I was very dissapointed at how mellow and soft the album was. I called it "Gorillaz for the old folks home" and gave it a 2/5. After years of relistening, I've noticed things I didnt hear the first time, like how awesome "Stylo" and the title track are, like the pristine and lovely recording, the fact that for the first time ever Damon Albarn sounds like he can sing...almost. My rating has risen ever since, and I soon may find myself rating it a 4.5/5. I still think the album quite mellow, too mellow when compared with Demon Days, but its worth a listen for sure. I don't think I'll ever feel the same way about The Fall. |

I truly don't understand why the majority considers this to be Pantera's worst effort post their glam
metal days. Why? This album is kick ass. Seriously, this album slays. The riffs are all immense and
heavy as fuck, as well as actually comprehensible, unique, and catchy unlike their last few albums,
the lyrics are actually meaningful and reflect an aged and matured band, the production is by far the
best of any of Pantera's albums (no longer the staticy guitar tone and muffled drums) and Dimebag's
guitar work is
at his absolute peak. "We'll Grind That Axe For A Long Long Time" or "Death Rattle" are perfect for
getting pumped up for a football game. This album is fantastic...actually it's the best and EASILY the
smartest Pantera album ever. suck it bitches |
