I would have said the same not long ago, and I've been as critical of those albums as anyone, but it felt pretty lazy getting 13 songs into this list and realising I'd only represented 3 albums lmao. still have plenty of problems with those albums but their highs are pretty high

not to immediately contradict myself but I've listened to KNY dozens of times and I legit couldn't tell you a single thing that distinguishes the three G songs. anyone who can tell those songs apart is lying afaic - the only thing I can actively recall is that the one with the chorus with "how'd you do it" over and over and over is a solid contender for my least favourite Deftones song. fuck that shit is annoying |

07.07.20 | ^ bro what, Goon Squad is one of their best songs, Gauze is a great tune with a beautifully gnarly outro, and Graphic Nature's (the one with that chorus) got sweet drums though it's probably the weakest on KNY (still a dope song). My point is, they're all very different, and the fact that you can't distinguish em is kinda strange |
