No love for Nocturniquet here, I really like that album, though I do tend to skip Whip Hand so agree with that placing. Vedamalady is definitely a top 10 for me though, love that song.
Hard to look beyond Goliath as a personal number one, what a song that is
This encouraged me to go back and jam ORL's compilation LP, "Telesterion" (which is available on Spotify) and damn that album needs more love. Compiles what Omar believes are the best tracks from his first 19 LPs into one convenient, compelling package. And yet it has like 10 ratings with a 3.4 average. Haven't listened to that compilation or any of his pre 2016-to-2017-22-album-streak material in quite some time and it's so damn enjoyable for fans of experimental/jazz-fusion music.
Great job on the feature! @Demon - I obviously love Deloused, but it does kinda feel like a bridge between ATDI and what I typically think of as Mars Volta music (Amputechture/Bedlam)
