05.17.21 | Hi there! It's always great to meet new users. While others will likely have better recommendations than me, since you like SOAD, I think you'd really enjoy bands like Deftones and Tool, who both work from the same art rock-meets-alt-metal template. Try the album White Pony by the former, and Ænima by the latter. Very bracing listens, filled with interesting twists and turns musically. If you like those, definitely check out Deftones' Around the Fur and Tool's Lateralus, as those albums are also great, and only really pale in comparison to White Pony and Ænima, respectively.
As far as other heavy alternative goes, I'd also recommend bands like Jane's Addiction, Rage Against the Machine, and Alice In Chains, all of whom made some of the finest hard rock of the alternative era.
Enjoy! |

05.17.21 | welcome to the club! I don't have specific albums, but check these tips:
1) See what the reviewer recommends on albums you already like (on the right of each review)
2) See on the left of the artist's page the ''Related Music Lists'' that include them
3) Check the ''Browse genre'' on the top line, beneath ''Charts'' and see what the top rated albums of the genre are each year
4) Comment on reviews you like and start conversations with other users. It will reignite your passion for albums you've already listened to, and will definitely make you feel inferior to the elite users, so probably you'll try and expand your taste
