04.22.22 | It's simultaneously a sad but great story. This friend struggled with opiates and had recently overdosed and he ended up paralyzed in one leg. He was recovering but in a wheelchair at the time and on vacation when he saw it on the behind the counter display rack, top shelf. He didn't have the money for it but he k new he had to get it for me so he literally climbed out of his chair onto the counter on his one leg and pulled it down while the clerk was distracted stocking records. Took his hoodie off and hid the record underneath in his lap and just rolled on out lol. Unfortunately he overdosed again a year or so later and passed but I have quite the memento. I don't know if you were around when kimmsightmatters was around but it was her older brother. RIP.
