I’ve been told by the Dr there’s no drama and I have about 10-15pints a week but me cholesterol is bloody high. I’ve been drinking since I was 13 and there’s almost no chance of me going dry. It just won’t happen but I can go days without touching the stuff in any way shape or form. I just love the boozer too much to knock it on the head.
artificialbox 05.29.24	thanks mk and hawks! yes it would appear so Egarran, anything to avoid real therapy (speaking for myself lol). @zak not totally pissed. but it got to a point where I was drinking purely out of compulsion even though it was ruining my sleep quality and making my anxiety and depression much worse. even though I felt great while I was drunk, I would feel like shite afterwards and then it became a self perpetuating cycle. wishing you all the strength and long lasting health in the world my guy.

Relinquished 05.30.24	I do it on some occasions now and only with meals. I used to be a rager when I was younger and in one of the biggest party cities in the world. Intense, movielike nights and alcohol was always around. It was fun and I don’t miss it cuz I lived it. I don’t care to return to it when the otherside proved to be healthier and brought forth actual happiness. It’s easy to lose sight on priorities but luckily having good support systems, in however way they present themselves, will help to prevail as long as you yourself put in the work. Gotta thank my wife for going through the fire with me in my case. Music for sure carried me through other things beyond alcohol and the community here has always been with cool people so cheers to improving your life.
