Top Ten On My Playlist Right Now

Some songs I'm digging right now, whether they are new or some old favourties
1Opeth
The Night and the Silent Water

Such an underrated song in Opeth's discography. Great growls, and the final two minutes with Mikael whisphering the title name is simply cream-worthy
2Scar Symmetry
Holographic Universe

Opens with some great futuristic synth, and one of Scar Symmetry's most intense songs
3Triptykon
Shatter

Old age saying-simple is best
4Airbourne
Blackjack

Great driving song, exactly what ACDC should make these days instead of their watered down drivel
5Testament
More than Meets The Eye

Best album any of your traditional, american thrash bands have produced in quite some while
6Pantera
I'm Broken

Makes me want to go and smash my neighbours shed (we have been enemies ever since I broke his lawnmower with some concrete slabs-don't ask)
7Foo Fighters
Erase/Replace

Album's a bit pedestrian, but this is a great rock number
8At the Gates
Blinded By Fear

Gave it a spin for the first time in about three years. Great album, should be an anthem
9Eminem
Not Afraid

Huge respect for the guy. Unlike every other bullshitter #cough# 50 cent #cough# this guy actually gives us a really powerful message
10Agalloch
Ghost of the Midwinter Fires

Never really liked these guys or BM in particular, but this is something else. Its fantastic
