Demon of the Fall 03.15.23	does any of their stuff sound completely unlike Josh Tree? I've heard that and it was not good. Also, that Atomic Bomb album (sort of by proxy), which was unsurprisingly worse
fogza 03.15.23	I'd say if you don't like Joshua Tree its probably not the band for you, although they're maybe a little punkier on early releases, and maybe a little more varied in the 90's, until they lose the plot in the 2000's

ashcrash9 03.16.23	NLOTH has a handful of Adam's coolest parts and is the most experimental they've been since the turn of the century, even if it also contains some straightforward safe stuff too. a mixed bag but the highs confidently outweigh the lows imo. probably would've had even better critical reception if its worst song by a mile wasn't the lead single

TalonsOfFire 03.17.23	Yes, for sure. Haven’t heard Surrender yet but this is a really good ranking, especially the top 5, except I’d have Horizon at 6th! Aside from Boots and Comedy, every song is at least good, and I love the return of Eno and their willingness to experiment again. If those two were bonus tracks and replaced with Winter, it’d be 4/5 imo. I also like Pop well enough, at least better than Innocence and Experience.
