01.06.10 | Radiohead - OK Computer or Kid A
Mos Def - The Ecstatic or Black on Both Sides (or Black Star I guess, but that's not a solo record) |
AliW1993
01.06.10 | Radiohead - OK Computer |
BigHans
01.06.10 | Radiohead - The Bends. If for some reason he has never heard them it woud be a much better introduction than Kid A.
Dylan - Blood on the Tracks and Highway 61. |
AliW1993
01.06.10 | The Bends is definitely a better introduction than Kid A but I personally found OK Computer the easiest to get into |

01.06.10 | agreed with ali...i tried starting with the bends and didnt like it so i went onto ok computer and it took me like 200 listens but now i love that album...i cant stand kid a though |

01.06.10 | I'd rec The Bends as a starter anytime. OK Computer and Kid A may be better, but are so much harder to get into, especially Kid A. |

01.06.10 | I just got The Bends last week and haven't really given it a proper listen yet. OK Computer was my first Radiohead, and Kid A followed quickly (then Amnesiac and Pablo Honey). I liked Kid A the best, although I guess I'd already had an intro to the band with OK.
I found Kid A to be pretty accessible when I got into it recently, but I remember hearing it once when it first came out (I was probably 15) and not liking it at all. |

01.06.10 | Mos Def - Black on Both Sides
Minus The Bear - Planet of Ice is their best but Menos El Oso is a pretty good starting point to get used to their overall sound |

01.06.10 | Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake It's Morning |

01.06.10 | The first time I heard Kid A I thought it was the most overreated bloated piece of shit. Its grown on me since, but I still think Computer, Bends, and even Hail to the Thief beat it. |

01.06.10 | No problem. "Brick" was the first single taken from that album as well as his breakout song... Good place to start. |

01.06.10 | Minus the Bear. |
LegendofPittman
01.06.10 | I think OK Computer is a bit easier to get into that The Bends or Kid A.
and as for Minus the Bear, I agree with the guy who said Menos El Oso is a good start, but after that listen to Planet of Ice. |

07.26.12 | For Costello I would say the debut My Aim Is True. Doesn't really have a bad song on it. This Years model is louder and harder rock than my aim is true though. |

07.26.12 | should probably have checked the date on this list before posting bro |

07.26.12 | Minus the Bear - Menos El Oso
