| The Most Disappointing Albums Ever
The biggest disappointments of all times, albums I expected to blow me away, but it felt like a bad blow job by comparison. | 1 | | Metallica St. Anger
It isn't as bad as people say it is, but it is very disappointing. There are plenty of things of wrong with the album, the lack of production, locking the guitarist out of studio, and James Hetfield's still terrible voice. | 2 | | Canibus Can-I-Bus
When Canibus started to feud LL Cool J, I knew Can-I-Bus wasn't going to be quite as good as i originally expected, but this is really bad. The beats were incredibly bland, and so where the rhymes. | 3 | | Audioslave Audioslave
What did I expect from this album? something of amazement obviously, because Legendary Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell, joins with Rage Against Machine without Zach De La Rocha, i was expecting something amazing. What i got was a mediocre radio rock album. Everything was dumbed down in a certain way, Chris Cornell didn't sing as well as he did in Soundgarden, Tom Morello didn't create riffs like he used to, and the lyrics were plain horrific. It wasn't all bad (I gave it a 2.5), but it was such a huge letdown I just had to puke. | 4 | | Smashing Pumpkins Zeitgeist
I almost forgot about this one, but this is so terrible. I loved the Pumpkin's early work, but the electronic tones on some of the songs are just plain distasteful, and the vocals are becoming more bland as it goes. The only thing that stays fresh is the drumming, curtousy of Jimmy Chamberlin. What a let down! | 5 | | Chris Cornell Carry On
I know i shouldn't have expected Euphoria Morning, I guess Soundgarden is to Euphoria Morning, as Audioslave is to Carry On. That is, Soundgarden is great, Audioslave is kind of crappy, as Euphoria Morning is classic, but Carry On is kind crappy. | |

04.10.08 | Katt, they just made so many promises that it would be past Metallica, that i thought it would come true. It didn't, and though it was about the level of Load and Reload, i was expecting something like there 80s stuff. | Phil
