09.25.10 | List is obviously FlyLo ranked. But yeah the album is pretty neat, and I'm not really even that big of a fan of him. Long as hell though (last track is 25 minutes long), and holy shit there's actually some good ol' fashioned autotune in it (only one song thank god). | NeutralThunder12
09.25.10 | OMG. i hated the single from this. Sufjan is one of my favorites ever (even though he's really inconsistent) mainly because Illinoise is my favorite indie album ever, but I don't like the new direction in which he is going. He's going back to the synth-heavy electro-pop stuff he used to do, and thats just not his strong suit. He should stick to the dense chamber pop/indie, he's great with that. | Romulus

09.26.10 | ive been on the fence with sufjan for his entire career. i don't hate him but i don't love him. some songs are amazing ("John Wayne Gacy Jr.", "Chicago", and "All The Trees of the Field Will Clap Their Hands" to name a few), but some aren't as amazing. i hope this will be good. i do like that he consistently shifts around. |
